A good start is half the battle won. A look back at our last 3 sprints.
While Umano’s rate of progress is fairly consistent, it becomes less sufficient towards the end of the sprint, with any incomplete work moving into the next sprint. While we do our best to swarm around those tasks in order to complete them quickly and move on with new work, it’s not enough – our progress is never sufficient to finish the amount of work planned for a sprint.
After planning on Monday, we quickly realised that we had again overcommitted ourselves and yesterday made the decision to remove some of the lower priority tasks from the sprint. While this impacted the stability of our requirements, we are much more confident in our ability to complete this sprint.
Our next step will be looking into how we spend our time to explore how we can increase our speed of delivery.
